Pursuant to Malacañang Proclamation 247, the month of September of every year is declared as Development Policy Research Month (DPRM). The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) joins the nation and the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) in celebrating the 20th Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) from September 1 to 30, 2022 with the theme “#CloseTheGap: Accelerate Post-pandemic Recovery through Social Justice.”

The PCC fully supports the observance of the DPRM in its bid to cultivate a strong culture of research, evidence-based policymaking, and program planning among policymakers and leaders across the public sector.
