Call for Comments: PCC Circular on the Adjustment of the Schedule of Fines for Violations of the Philippine Competition Act (PCA), of the 2017 Rules of Procedure of the Philippine Competition Commission, and the Rules of Merger Procedure

The Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) invites the public to submit their comments on the draft PCC Circular on adjusting the schedule of fines for violations of the Philippine Competition Act, of the 2017 Rules of Procedure of the Philippine Competition Commission, and the Rules of Merger Procedure.

This adjustment of fines is in accordance with Section 29 of the competition law, which mandates the PCC to adjust the amount of fines every five years in order to maintain their real value.

The public may send their comments via e-mail to legal@phcc.gov.ph with subject title “Comments: PCC Circular on the Adjustment of PCC’s Schedule of Fines”, or via mail to Philippine Competition Commission located at 25th Floor Tower 1, Vertis North Corporate Center, North Avenue, Quezon City 1105. Please ensure that comments will be received by the Legal Services Division on or before 17 January 2021.
